A night a Deep Funk, Rare Grooves and Heavy Soul in a Bronx tradition. Playing the deepest, funkiest, heaviest funk & soul records from the original 7″ 45RPM medium. The Shakedown Crew consists of three veteran DJ’s and record collectors who love to get their heads out the record crates and play the tunes that they think are deserved to be played out. Our goals are setting the dance floor ablaze, having a good time and getting down with the get down! So get on the good foot, jump on the soul train and get your ass to “The Shakedown”!
